Isaiah Cooper flies into the record books

At 9:00 am on July 18th Isaiah Cooper became the youngest African American to pilot an airplane around the continental United States of America.  Overcoming severe weather in Wyoming, Isaiah persevered and completed his epic adventure.  After traveling over 8000 miles from Compton, to Washington, to Maine, to Florida, he returns home to celebrate this accomplishment.  As Isaiah’s sponsoring organization, TAM is hosting a welcome home party on September 24th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Held in our unique hangar and museum space at 961 W Alondra Blvd on the Compton/Woodley airport we celebrate this astounding achievement.

Isaiah now sets his sights on a Guinness World Record breaking attempt to be the youngest person to fly solo around the Earth at age 18. This welcome home party not only celebrates a victory in aviation history, but makes Isaiah’s ultimate goal much more achievable.  Single seats, tables for 10 guests, and sponsorship packages are available.
