Compton Unified High School District students, under TAM’s guidance, will be competing against university teams around the country to construct a liquid methane fueled rocket.  The winning team, whomever reaches 45,000 feet first, will earn $100,000 in scholarship money for students to pursue engineering degrees.  To assist students TAM is creating state of the art lab space will featuring CNC manufacturing equipment, 3-D printers, and liquid fuel production capabilities all housed in our newly remodeled museum hangar space.

TAM is cultivating the next generation of engineers that will populate the aerospace industry and replace a generation of retiring professionals.  This is a huge step to creating a better future for our youth.
